South Melbourne Porsche & Coffee returns in 2027, bringing together car enthusiasts, locals and visitors for a relaxed morning of great cars, coffee and community in one of Melbourne’s most vibrant neighbourhoods.

As a popular lead-in to Grand Prix week, the event transforms Clarendon Street into a lively cultural meeting place where people can connect, explore local cafés and businesses, and experience the atmosphere that makes South Melbourne unique. We’re also proud to welcome Porsche as Naming Partner for 2027, celebrating the brand’s long-standing connection to South Melbourne. Back in 1951, the South Melbourne Town Hall hosted the launch of the first Porsche models imported into Australia, making the precinct a fitting home for this growing annual tradition.

Time	Info
6:30 – 7:30 am	Display cars, bump in from 6:30am
7:30 -11:00 am	Exhibition – fixed time. No early departures will be possible
8:00 -11:00 am	Enjoy the exhibition, coffee & food and retail offerings from our local traders. Music in the library forecourt
11:00 am	Official exhibition ends – all cars to commence exit. Exit to be completed promptly and in an orderly manner
11:00 am +	STAY & PLAY: Visit Clarendon & Coventry Streets and enjoy the local offerings. Check out our race simulators at Library Open Day

I have a Porsche, how do i exhibit?

No pre-registration is required. Bump in at 6:30am and an attendant will qr scan on entry

Exhibition Parking, marked in yellow centralised between:-

Clarendon St, between Park & Dorcas Streets, and
Bank Street, between Palmer & Perrins Streets
REVERSE ANGLE PARKING FOR ALL

This annual event is free

Where can I park on the day?

Public Parking,

In surrounding streets marked in orange, as per signage
IMPT, roads closed to traffic. Enter Clarendon St, from Park St.
GPS, Cnr Clarendon & Park Streets
