Jack Botts plays the Gershwin Room at The Espy as part of his Australian tour supporting his second album, Days & Days. His sound leans into folk and country, built around coastal-inspired storytelling and a laid-back live presence that's earned him support slots with acts including Hozier, Tash Sultana and Boy & Bear. He's also played major overseas festivals such as Boardmasters in the UK and Electric Castle in Romania, so the St Kilda show offers a chance to catch an artist with a growing international following in a room that holds a fraction of those festival crowds. Expect a set built mostly around new material from the album, alongside earlier singles including Bonita and What If?. The Gershwin Room's history as a St Kilda music landmark makes it a fitting stop on the tour. Doors are at 4pm on Saturday 15 August, an earlier start than a typical evening gig.
