The store sits in the middle of South Melbourne's retail and cafe strip, an easy walk from South Melbourne Market, which makes it a natural stop if you're already out exploring the neighbourhood. Being a recent opening, the fit-out and stock presentation feel fresher than some older op shops, though the appeal is the same one that keeps Vinnies popular across the state: browsing for genuine bargains while supporting the Society's welfare and community work. It's open every day of the week, including Sundays, which isn't a given for op shops in the area.
