Melbourne Golf Park occupies the Aughtie Drive site that housed the Albert Park Driving Range from the late 1990s, beside the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre at the northern end of Albert Park Lake. Following a rebuild, the range now has more than 60 bays across two levels, around 40 of them covered, with Trackman screens fitted to each bay for swing and ball-flight data. The range spans more than 250 metres and stays floodlit into the evening. Two 18-hole mini golf courses, The Lake Course and The Outback Course, sit alongside the main range, and a short-game area with a putting green and bunker gives golfers somewhere to work on their approach shots. PGA-accredited coaches run lessons and clinics for juniors, beginners and groups seven days a week, and a club-fitting service is available for those upgrading their equipment. A cafe and rooftop bar overlook the lake, the latter opening on selected afternoons and weekends through winter. The facility is walk-in only for individual golfers and small groups, with function packages available for larger bookings. On-site parking operates as a paid permit zone reached from Aughtie Drive, with further parking nearby at MSAC and along Aughtie Drive within the Albert Park precinct. Lift access and wheelchair-friendly entries were part of the rebuild.
