Kerferd Road Pier
A timber pier built in 1887-89 extending into Port Phillip Bay, popular for fishing, photography and watching the sunset over the water.
Kerferd Road Pier is a heritage-listed timber pier on the Albert Park foreshore, built between 1887 and 1889 as one of the few Victorian-era piers designed purely for recreation rather than shipping. It remains a well-used spot for fishing, walking and photography, with public berthing available for visiting boats and views back across Port Phillip Bay to the city skyline.
