Abel Studios™ is a video and photography production house led by directors Mark and Natalie Kobakian, working from a studio on Victoria Street in North Melbourne. The team manages the full filmmaking process in house, from initial strategy and storyboarding through to shooting and post-production, so that clients can stay focused on running their own business while the creative work is taken care of. The studio's body of work covers branded campaign films, documentaries and interview-style content for a mix of sport, fashion and lifestyle clients. Past projects list adidas, Porsche, Puma, Mercedes-Benz and Cetaphil alongside AFL and sporting personalities including Nick Daicos, Isaac Heeney and Caitlin Foord. Abel Studios™ describes its approach as combining traditional filmmaking craft with an understanding of audience behaviour, with the goal of helping brands connect more directly with the people they're trying to reach.
