San Churro Clásico South Melbourne operates from shop G07 in the Clarendon Centre at 261 Clarendon Street, on the corner of Clarendon and Coventry streets. It is a location of Chocolateria San Churro, a Spanish-inspired chocolate café chain founded in Melbourne in 2004 that began franchising in 2006 and now has stores across Australia. The South Melbourne 'Clásico' store serves the brand's core menu of freshly cooked churros, tossed in cinnamon sugar and served with a range of dipping chocolates, alongside croffles, gelato and other Spanish-style sweet treats. Savoury options, fair-trade coffee and tea, hot chocolates, shakes and cold drinks round out the menu. Food is available for dine-in, takeaway, delivery through Uber Eats and DoorDash, and click-and-collect ordering through San Churro's own website. Gift cards can be purchased online or in store. The café operates within the Clarendon Centre, a shopping centre anchored by a Coles supermarket, which provides 90 minutes of free undercover parking, wheelchair-accessible entrances and an accessible toilet. San Churro Clásico trades seven days a week, from 11am on weekdays and 10.30am on weekends, closing between 10pm and 11pm depending on the day. A 10 per cent surcharge applies on Sundays and 15 per cent on public holidays.
