Half Acre
A restored 1900s timber mill in South Melbourne, now an event and private dining venue with a wood-fired kitchen and open-fire courtyard.
Half Acre occupies a restored early-1900s timber mill on Munro Street, with exposed brick walls and soaring stained-timber ceilings setting the scene for weddings, private dining and corporate events. The kitchen cooks over an open charcoal fire and wood-fired oven, drawing on modern Australian flavours with a Middle Eastern lean. The venue includes an 85-seat main dining room known as the Glass House, an intimate 16-seat private room called the Chimney House, and a courtyard bar with its own open fireplace.
