Fitzroy Street Foodie Fare

Event Details

A monthly food market on Fitzroy Street, run by Rotary and the local business association, with a focus on locally made produce.

The Fitzroy Street Foodie Fare sets up on the third Sunday of the month, organised jointly by the Rotary Club of Southbank Elsternwick and the Fitzroy Street Business Association. The focus is on food that's locally produced or supplied by local traders, so expect stalls selling fresh fruit and vegetables, baked goods, chocolate, tea, oils and sauces, along with flowers and other homemade goods. It's a smaller, community-focused market rather than a major destination event, the kind of stop that suits a slow Sunday morning in St Kilda. Because it's run by Rotary, proceeds support the club's community fundraising, so shopping here does double duty. The market sits on Fitzroy Street itself, close to St Kilda's cafes and restaurants, making it easy to turn a market visit into brunch. It runs from 8am to midday and is free to attend.
