Cars and Culture Melbourne sets up in the St Kilda Triangle carpark and Lower Esplanade for a morning dedicated to car culture, run by the Motor Culture Australia community. Expect a wide mix of vehicles, from restored classics and Australian muscle cars to modified imports and motorbikes, with owners on hand to talk through their builds. It's a free, family-friendly event, and the beachside location makes it easy to combine with a walk along St Kilda foreshore or a stop at one of the cafes nearby. Motor Culture Australia runs similar meets in other states, and the St Kilda event has built a following among Melbourne's car community as a regular chance to see a broad range of vehicles in one place without needing to enter or register a car yourself. Road closures apply around Lower Esplanade during the event, so check ahead if you're driving. It runs from 9am to midday on Sunday 16 August.
